Childhood memories are not complete without a special trip to Walt Disney World. I treasure the memories I have of visiting with my parents and brother, but my true love of Disney and the magic it holds did not begin until my husband and I took our oldest daughter for the first time. She was 4 and the perfect age for everything princess mixed with a little bit of pixie dust.
Fast forward 9 years, my husband and I have enjoyed many trips with our 3 girls. It’s truly a place that brings out the child in all of us! We get excited as soon as the monorail rounds the corner and Cinderella’s Castle comes into view, and there is nothing like the sweet smell of Main Street! Mmmm!
I would love to help you with your Disney planning—it doesn’t matter if it’s a family trip or an adults only (way fun!)—I look forward to helping you make magical memories!
Some of my Disney favorites:
Resorts: My family has stayed at all levels of Resorts—value, moderate, and deluxe. Hands down our favorite is Art of Animation. The suites are a great size for our larger family. The kids loved the pools, especially with the underwater music!
Rides: Expedition Everest, Flight of Passage, Slinky Dog Dash, Rock N Roller Coaster, Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion (even though I was an adult before I conquered this fear!)
Eats: 50’s Prime Time Café, Rainforest Café at Animal Kingdom, Flame Tree BBQ, Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge, Narcoossee’s-If you time it right you can watch the Electric Water Parade from your table.
Treats: Beaches and Cream Soda Shop, Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie, No trip is complete without a Mickey Ice Cream Bar!
Experiences: Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, Festival of the Lion King
