When my husband and I pushed the double stroller onto Main Street USA in Disney World, I cried. I. CRIED. The sweet smells, the music, our 3 year old and 4 year old’s excitement to see Mickey Mouse . . .
It was truly magical . . . and I was hooked.
However, there were many aspects of that first trip that were overwhelming. We had a crash course over the next three days in all four parks with the MyDisneyExperience app, fast passes, dining plan, memory maker, monorail, and bus system. Prior to our trip, we thought we had successfully planned for everything, but on location we didn’t know how to navigate and work
through all of our plans! We needed a Disney travel planner and didn’t know it!
My family has since visited Disney once a year for the last 5 years. The magic hasn’t faded and the experiences get better visit after visit. Disney has something for everyone and has grown with our family.

Old Key West at Disney World – relax at the Sandcastle pool. Hilton Head Island Resort in Hilton Head, SC – Perfect for a long weekend. The feel of Disney right in South Carolina with lots of activities available on site (campsite fires with smores, outdoor movies, heated pool for November swimming), all with the excellence expected at Disney.
Rides – Peter Pan’s Flight, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Railroad, Space Mountain, Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, Expedition Everest, Avatar Flight of Passage, Slinky Dog Dash, Toy Story Mania, Star Tours, Soarin’, Guardians of the Galaxy, Smuggler’s Run, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure . . . we like to ride attractions!
Eats – Quick Service: Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn or Pinocchio Village Haus in Magic Kingdom; Satu’li Canteen in Animal Kingdom; too many food booths to count at EPCOT; ABC Commissary and Ronto Roasters in Hollywood Studios. Table Service: Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom (my husband’s favorite); Yak & Yeti in Animal Kingdom; Via Napoli and San Angel Inn in EPCOT; Sci Fi Dine In Theater in Hollywood Studios. Character Dining: Tusker House for breakfast! Treats: Jack Jack’s Num Num Cookie!, Mickey Pretzel, popcorn buckets, Dole Whips!
Experiences – Character experiences, seasonal park decor, Mickey’s Not so Scary Halloween, Happily Ever After Fireworks, Winged Encounters at Animal Kingdom
