Jennie Wilfong

I first visited Walt Disney World Resort when I was around 6 months old.  Throughout my childhood, we visited at least once a year if we could.  As an adult, I even spent my first year out of college working for the Mouse.  Now that I am older and have a daughter of my own, I have been sure to share my love of Disney with her since she was an infant, and we visit at least once a year.  I can honestly say I have been a Disney fanatic my entire life, and there is no stopping me now.

I am also a runner, and love participating in the RunDisney events.  I actually go to Disney on my own every race weekend to either run or volunteer.  So I am well versed in planning our family trips, and solo trips as well.  There is no place like Home.  I also love to Cruise and travel for races, or baseball for my husband, so I am no stranger to planning trips.

My favorite thing about visiting the Disney parks is the preparation beforehand.  I am diligent about doing my best to get the reservations for the restaurants I love, and fastpasses for the rides I really want, so once I get there, I have zero stress about what to do or where to go, because I planned it all out ahead of time.  I would love to be able to do that for you.  In this day of having to plan your vacations ahead of time, I would be able to take away the stress and handle as much or as little of that pre-planning as you would like me to.

Some of my Disney Favorites:

Resorts –  Polynesian Village Resort– a classic on the Monorail line, the Lava pool with waterslides is a MUST visit… Beach Club Resort– the pool and waterslide! And walking distance to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios!… Pop Century– Fun theme (Hippy Dippy pool is my daughter’s favorite!) and on the new Skyliner route… and All-Star Music Resort– great value with a great theme and a choice between a Guitar or Piano pool! (can you tell I like pools?)

Rides – one ride in each park I HAVE to do every time are: Buzz Light Year Space Ranger Spin, Toy Story Midway Mania, Kilimanjaro Safari, and Spaceship Earth

Eats – for Character meals, Crystal Palace, Magic Kingdom- dining with visits from Pooh, Tigger, and friends is a MUST every trip… Akershus, Norway/Epcot- Breakfast with the Princess is something everyone should experience…

For regular table service dining, Rose and Crown, Great Britain/Epcot- Fish and Chips, and the Welsh Dragon for thirsty adults, need I say more?… Sci-Fi Dine in Theater, Hollywood Studios– my husband’s favorite and a must visit every trip.

For Quick Service, we love Sa’tuli Canteen, Pandora/Animal Kingdom- Adults can get a double version of the kids Cheeseburger pods, YUM!… Flametree BBQ, Animal Kingdom- fantastic BBQ options and the baked beans, so good!,… Pinocchio Village Haus, Magic Kingdom – options for everyone in our family

Treats – I cannot go to ANY park without getting the Mickey Icecream Sandwich- it’s cookies and crème!, and my newest favorite is the “I Lava You” Dole Whip Float- Strawberry flavor and POP ROCKS!!!!

Experiences – Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor – are you brave enough to be “That Guy”?… UP! A Great Bird Adventure- learning about birds with Russel and Dug is awesome!… For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-along Celebration- With a daughter obsessed with Frozen movies, this was surprisingly entertaining… Visiting as many characters as possible- those interactions are the magic of Disney
